Grand Premiere Screening

FEBRUARY 12, 2016

The Chimney is proud to present the grand premiere of "The Black Crook", the first 3D printed music video by French artist duo Holy Faya featuring the rapper KillASon and the electro dancer BATs.

"The Black Crook" depicts the eternal quest for love, inspired by the story of Frankenstein and remixed with loud beats and crazy dance moves. Driven by the magical powers of this artistic collaboration, Holy Faya will recreate for one night at The Chimney the enchanted scenery of the music video.

Nelly Zagury & Célia Elmasu are the french creators behind Holy  Faya.  Boundless dreamers, passionate makers, the French duo wants to re-enchant the world. Their costumes, jewelry, and scenery are mixing 3D printing technology with "couture" traditions.
"Amina Dreams", Holy Faya's first jewelry collection, was worn by FKA Twigs, and featured in Entrepreneur.com. They recently designed unique pieces for the artist Rashaad Newsome for The King of Arms Art Ball 2015.
Nelly Zagury previously designed jewelry for Chanel, Boucheron, Swarovski and designed costumes for River of Fundament, the last Matthew Barney opera film. As a product designer, Celia Elmasu worked for Cartier, Ciroc, Ralph Lauren and created scenography for Le Louvre museum and galleries in NYC.

KillASon is a 20-year-old uprising French rapper. Coming from the prestigious french hip hop dance scene, member of Wanted Posse crew and Hip Hop Undercover, KillASon released his first LP "The Rize" in 2016.

BATs, Mamadou Bats Bathily, is an electro and bone break dancer from Paris. Spotted by choreographer and filmmaker Blanca Li,  BATs became electro dance world champion in 2011. "BATs the creature" dances for FKA Twigs, Madonna, Martin Solveig or brands such as Nike and Diesel.
